Signs Your Safe May Need Maintenance

A safe is meant to store your jewelry, money, guns, important documents, and more, so when you can't get in, or it won't lock properly, that doesn't protect your valuable items adequately. You probably think you can lock your items in the safe, and it's good to go. If you access your safe frequently, you should have it serviced once a year or once every two years to ensure it is functioning correctly. Below are a few warning signs that it may be time for you to schedule maintenance services.

  • Your safe will not open or shut
  • The dial is loose or wobbly
  • You hear an unusual clicking sound
  • The door is stiff when opening or closing
  • The combination changes without being reset
  • The dial gives resistance when turning

At Security Safe, we can provide you with AMSEC safes, fireproof safes, gun safes, and jewelry safes. We will also provide routine maintenance to ensure they are always functioning correctly and protecting your items. Give us a call today to schedule your maintenance service.

We look forward to working with you!
