IMPAX LABORATORIES, Hayward, CA

Concern:

Needed a vault to hold pharmaceuticals used in the preparation of finished drugs for other companies. Did not know what Class of vault was needed but needed one that had 3,000 Sq. Ft. of storage and could utilize a fork lift in the interior.

Solution:

Security Safe was the general contractor on site and:

• procured all permits
• hired subcontractors to remove the existing floor in their warehouse and install a higher weight bearing floor
• coordinated design and classification standards with the DEA
• designed, ordered, shipped, and erected a 3,000 Sq. Ft., 20” high vault that allowed the installation of racks and the use of fork lifts to move materials
• designed, ordered, shipped, and installed a DEA compliant, Class 5 door
• turned combination and keys over to IMPAX one week ahead of contract date

Result:

All supplies in a central area, easily accessible, and approved by the DEA.

ROSS stores; Pleasanton, CA

Concern:

Needed a 2 Hour fire safe each of their stores.

Solution:

Security Safe provided a safe and a locking mechanism that would best suit the needs of all of the stores. By utilizing the same safe, Ross Stores now had a corporate standard for their safes and by using the same safe and lock, their service needs were simplified.

Concern:

Needed a 24/7 resource to supply safes, locks and interior and exterior door and cash register security.
